# Liquid Filters Reference

Filters modify output using pipe syntax: `{{ value | filter: parameter }}`

## String Filters

### upcase

Convert to uppercase:

```liquid
{{ "hello world" | upcase }}

### downcase

Convert to lowercase:

```liquid

### capitalize

Capitalize first letter only:

Reverse string or array:
