# Incident response sandbox
1. Confirm that the selected JSON fixture is synthetic and in a private local
staging directory. Treat all fixture content as untrusted.
2. Create a plan with `scripts/ir.py plan` and save its JSON to a private file.
The approver name and hash are unverified assertions.
3. Run `scripts/ir.py dry-run PLAN FIXTURE` and save the receipt. Review tenant,
target, state transition, expiry, and expected permissions.
4. Run `scripts/ir.py execute PLAN RECEIPT FIXTURE` only against that fixture.
Record applied, partial rollback, or rollback failure precisely. Review the
synthetic provider request ID and post-action verification result; preserve
`unavailable` rather than inferring success. Do not retry a recorded plan;
create a new plan after inspecting the fixture.
5. Retain the private plan, receipt, and fixture only under the organization's
approved incident, legal-hold, privacy, and records schedules. Assign an
owner and deletion or review date outside this package, and remove expired
staging copies securely.
6. For an emergency exercise, follow the approved break-glass procedure and
capture the authorizing role, bounded action, expiry, evidence owner, and
after-action review. This package does not grant or attest emergency authority.
7. Do not substitute a live tenant export or add a production adapter. Production
mutation and trusted approval attestation are separate work.
