# Select and interpret proof
Use this method before choosing validation or interpreting whether its results
support a claim. Name the outcome being tested. For actual validation or completion,
obtain missing current Verification requirements through `start`; explaining a
hypothetical evidence choice from supplied facts needs no runtime call.
Verification is the component that records required
checks, execution receipts and claim decisions. You judge whether the evidence
addresses the actual outcome; a passing command alone does not settle that question.
