# Shape and continue Planning work
Use when substantial work or a later session needs a record of the agreed outcome
and remaining steps. Planning maintains those records and their relationships.
First check whether the selected record belongs to this task; selection alone
does not establish that relationship. Clear direct work needs no plan.
Use [the current question](procedure.md) or its same-source links directly:

Use the configured native invocation and exact owner requests/actions. Without it,
