# Skill: Content Creation (Cross-Cutting)
## Purpose
Draft high-converting marketing copy and content assets across multiple channels — blog posts, social media, email newsletters, landing pages, case studies, and press releases.
## When to Use
- When writing or editing copy for digital marketing channels.
- When you need specific structural guidelines for a blog, newsletter, case study, or landing page.
- When optimizing content for SEO (keyword placement, headers, metadata).
## Step-by-Step Process
### Step 1: Research & Intent Alignment
- Identify the target audience, channel constraints, and the single call to action (CTA).
- Define the primary keyword and 2-3 secondary keywords if SEO is required.
### Step 2: Select the Structural Template
- Use the channel-specific structure (e.g., Blog: Headline -> Intro -> Body H2s -> Conclusion -> Meta; Social: Hook -> Body -> CTA -> Hashtags).
### Step 3: Draft the Copy
- Write benefit-first copy using active voice. Keep reading level appropriate (e.g., 8th-grade level for general public).
- Maintain scannability with short paragraphs, subheadings, and bullet points.
### Step 4: Integrate SEO & CTA
- Insert primary keyword naturally in critical locations (headline, first 100 words, one H2, meta).
- Build a compelling, action-oriented CTA with low-friction text (e.g., "Start your free trial" instead of "Submit").
### Step 5: Proofread & Optimize
- Review against the channel checklist (e.g., email subject line length, mobile readability).
## Required Input
- **Content Type**: Blog post, email newsletter, social post, landing page copy, case study, etc.
- **Goal/CTA**: The action you want the reader to take.
- **Audience**: Demographics, pain points.
- **Target Keywords** (Optional): Primary and secondary keywords.
## Expected Output
- **Copy Outline**: Brief breakdown of sections and metadata.
- **Full Written Draft**: Copy-paste ready markdown draft including headlines, body, subheadings, and CTAs.
- **Headline Variations**: 3-5 headline options using proven formulas.
- **Meta Fields**: Title tags and meta descriptions (if web/blog).
## Tone & Rules
- Write in an engaging, benefit-driven, and audience-appropriate tone.
- Avoid passive voice, corporate jargon, and generic filler sentences.
