⚠️ OUTPUT NOTE: The goal of this skill is NOT to display results in chat.
The outcome is pushing output to a meaningful destination — Slack, Google Doc,
email draft, Notion, or web. If you're reading this in chat, the skill hasn't
finished its job.
## Overview
Consistency is the engine of social growth, but generating daily content is a drain on creative energy. This skill takes one core idea, topic, or theme and builds a complete week of platform-native social content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and short-form video — ten pieces in total. The full content calendar is pushed to a Google Doc or Notion page, ready to schedule or hand off to a VA.
## When to Use
- You say "build a week of social content"
- You say "social content from this idea"
- You have a topic, theme, or new piece of content and want to distribute it
- You need to fill your content calendar without starting from scratch every day
- You're preparing a launch, campaign, or awareness push
## How It Works
1. **Gather the core idea.** Ask the user for:
- The topic, theme, or idea to build around (can be a rough paragraph, a talking point, or a specific angle)
- Their target audience (who should these posts speak to?)
- Their tone of voice (direct and bold? Warm and educational? Data-driven? Conversational?)
- Their goal for the week (authority-building, engagement, lead generation, awareness?)
2. **Map the week.** Before writing, outline a brief arc for the 5 LinkedIn posts so they feel like a coherent week, not random standalone content. Each post should stand alone but share a theme.
3. **Write the 5 LinkedIn Posts (Monday–Friday):**
Each post:
- Opens with a scroll-stopping first line — no "I've been thinking about..." openers
- Is 150–250 words
- Uses short paragraphs (1–2 lines each)
- Has a distinct angle: e.g., Mon = bold take, Tue = practical tip, Wed = story, Thu = myth-bust, Fri = reflection or question
- Ends with a CTA or question to drive comments
- Include 3–5 hashtags for each post
4. **Write the 3 Twitter/X Posts:**
- Post 1: A punchy, standalone insight or hot take (under 200 chars)
- Post 2: A mini-list (3–5 items, formatted for readability)
- Post 3: A question or poll prompt designed to drive replies
Each should feel distinct — not just LinkedIn posts shrunk down.
5. **Write the 1 Instagram Caption:**
- 100–150 words
- Opens with a hook (the first line must make someone stop scrolling)
- Tells a micro-story or delivers a single clear insight
- Ends with a soft CTA ("Save this for later" or "Tell me in the comments")
- Include a hashtag block of 15–20 relevant tags, separated from the caption
6. **Write the 1 Short-Form Video Hook:**
- A 15-second opening script for a Reel, TikTok, or YouTube Short
- Structure: Bold statement or question → tension → tease what's coming
- Written as spoken words, not a post — conversational, high energy
- Include a note on visual/delivery style (e.g., "talking head, direct to camera, fast cuts")
7. **Push to destination.** Create a Google Doc or Notion page titled: `[Topic] — Weekly Content Plan — [Date Range]`. Organise by platform with clear headings. Include a "Content Brief" section at the top summarising the week's theme and goal.
8. **Confirm delivery.** Share the document link in chat.
## What the Agent Needs From You
- **Core idea or topic** — even a rough one
- **Target audience** — who are these posts for?
- **Tone of voice** — how do you communicate publicly?
- **Weekly goal** — what should this content achieve?
- **Destination** — Google Doc or Notion?
## Output
- One Google Doc or Notion page with all 10 pieces of content
- 5 LinkedIn posts (Mon–Fri), 3 Twitter/X posts, 1 Instagram caption, 1 video hook
- Content brief and weekly arc summary included
- Document link shared in chat on completion
