⚠️ OUTPUT NOTE: The goal of this skill is NOT to display results in chat.
The outcome is pushing output to a meaningful destination — Slack, Google Doc,
email draft, Notion, or web. If you're reading this in chat, the skill hasn't
finished its job.
## Overview
Creating content from scratch every day is exhausting and unnecessary. One well-crafted piece of content contains enough material for a week of multi-channel output. This skill takes a single source — a blog post, podcast transcript, keynote talk, or even a rough idea — and produces five distinct, platform-native content formats from it. Everything is pushed to a Google Doc or Notion page so it's ready to schedule, edit, or hand off.
## When to Use
- You say "repurpose this content"
- You say "spin this into 5 formats"
- You've just published a long-form piece and want to maximise its reach
- You recorded a podcast or gave a talk and want to extract the value
- You have a core idea and want to distribute it across channels
## How It Works
1. **Receive the source content.** Accept one of the following: a pasted blog post or article, a URL to a published piece, a podcast transcript, a talk outline or slide deck summary, or a core idea described in 2–5 sentences.
2. **Extract the core message.** Before writing, identify: the central argument or insight, the intended audience, the emotional hook or story element, and 3–5 supporting points or examples.
3. **Produce 5 content formats:**
**Format 1 — LinkedIn Post**
A 150–300 word post structured for LinkedIn's algorithm. Opens with a scroll-stopping first line (no "I'm excited to share..."). Uses short paragraphs. Ends with a question or call to action. Include 3–5 relevant hashtags.
**Format 2 — Twitter/X Thread**
A 7–10 tweet thread. Tweet 1 is the hook — bold claim or contrarian take. Tweets 2–9 unpack the argument with one idea per tweet. Final tweet is a summary and engagement CTA. Number each tweet (1/, 2/, etc.).
**Format 3 — Short-Form Video Script**
A 60–90 second script for Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. Structure: Hook (0–5 sec), Problem or tension (5–20 sec), Core insight (20–50 sec), Payoff/CTA (50–60 sec). Write in spoken, conversational language. Include direction notes (e.g., "[cut to talking head]").
**Format 4 — Email to List**
A 300–500 word email. Subject line + preview text included. Opens with a personal anecdote or observation. Delivers real value (not a tease). Ends with one clear CTA. Written in first person, warm but direct.
**Format 5 — Carousel / Infographic Brief**
A slide-by-slide brief for a designer or Canva build. Slide 1: Headline/hook. Slides 2–7: One point per slide with a headline and 1–2 supporting lines. Final slide: Summary and CTA. Include a note on visual style if possible (e.g., "dark background, bold white text, minimal icons").
4. **Push to destination.** Create a new Google Doc (or Notion page) titled: `[Topic] — Content Repurpose Pack — [Date]`. Organise each format with a clear heading. Add a "Source Material" section at the top.
5. **Confirm delivery.** Share the document link in chat.
## What the Agent Needs From You
- **The source content** — paste it directly, share a URL, or describe the idea
- **Your target audience** — who are you writing for?
- **Your tone** — e.g., direct and data-driven, warm and conversational, bold and provocative
- **Destination preference** — Google Doc or Notion?
## Output
- One Google Doc or Notion page containing all 5 content formats
- Formats: LinkedIn post, Twitter/X thread, short-form video script, email to list, carousel brief
- Document shared/linked in chat upon completion
