## Overview
Borrowed audiences are one of the fastest ways to grow. Whether it's a guest post on a high-traffic blog, a newsletter swap, a joint webinar, or a PR feature, collaboration is leverage. This skill identifies 5 targeted collaboration or PR opportunities in your niche, builds personalised pitches for each, and waits for your approval before sending a single message.
Every opportunity is researched for genuine fit. Every pitch is written to start a relationship, not just ask for a favour.
## When to Use
- You say "find collabs"
- You say "find guest post opportunities"
- You say "find PR opportunities"
- You want to grow your audience through partnership rather than paid ads
- You're launching something and need pre-launch exposure
- You want to build strategic relationships with complementary creators or brands
## How It Works
1. **Gather context.** Ask the user:
- What is your niche, topic, or area of expertise?
- What type of collaboration are you open to? (Guest posts, newsletter swaps, joint webinars, podcast swaps, media/PR features, affiliate partnerships — or all of the above)
- Who is your ideal audience? Be specific — industry, role, pain points.
- What can you offer in return? (Content, audience access, expertise, promotion)
- Any platforms or types of publications you'd prefer?
2. **Research 5 opportunities.** For each opportunity identify:
- **Name** — person, publication, newsletter, podcast, or platform
- **Platform/channel** — where they operate
- **Audience size** — estimated reach or subscriber count
- **Recent work** — a specific piece of content, episode, or campaign from the last 30 days
- **Fit score** — why this is a genuine fit for both parties (not just the user)
- **Pitch angle** — the specific hook or collaboration format to propose
3. **Draft outreach messages.** For each opportunity, write a short personalised outreach message (150–250 words):
- Opens with a specific, genuine reference to their recent work (not flattery — observation)
- States who the user is in one sentence
- Proposes the collaboration clearly — what format, what the audience gets, what's in it for them
- Suggests a specific topic or angle to make it easy to say yes
- Low-pressure close — no urgency language
4. **Present for review.** Show all 5 opportunities and their draft outreach messages. Let the user approve, edit, or remove before anything goes out.
5. **Ask before sending.** End with: *"Should I send these? Say 'send all' or tell me which ones to send and via which channel (email or DM)."*
6. **Execute on approval.** Send via the user's connected email or social DM. Confirm each send.
## What the Agent Needs From You
- **Your niche and expertise** — what do you create, teach, or do?
- **Collaboration type preferences** — guest post, newsletter swap, podcast, PR, or open to all
- **Your audience description** — who follows/listens/reads your content?
- **What you bring to the table** — your value proposition as a collaborator
- **Platform access** — connected email and/or social accounts for outreach
## Output
- 5 researched collaboration opportunities with full context
- 5 personalised outreach messages ready to send
- Messages sent on confirmation via email or DM
> ⚠️ **CONFIRM BEFORE SENDING:** This skill will NOT send any messages until you explicitly approve. Review all pitches, make any edits, then confirm to execute.
