# Press Kit
Earned media requires a credible story and useful evidence. A routine feature release is not automatically newsworthy; test whether the story matters without the company name.
If `.agents/marketing-context.md` exists, read it first; it is the truth file every skill in this hub shares, and its evidence states are constraints. Read [earned-media-system.md](references/earned-media-system.md) for the PR mix, story angles, research, pitching, releases, press pages, news response, podcasts, and measurement.
## Operating contract
1. Define objective, audience, story, why now, evidence, spokesperson, conflicts, risks, owned destination, and approval.
2. Verify current event, company, product, customer, market, outlet, journalist role, and contact route from primary or attributable sources.
3. Match each pitch to specific recent work and audience relevance; write complete, accurate materials with claim sources, limitations, rights, and a correction path.
4. Set follow-up and suppression limits.
Do not invent newsworthiness, trends, sources, customers, quotations, media interest, exclusivity, or authority, and require authorization before contact, embargo, exclusivity, submission, quotation, or publication.
## Return
PR decision, story angles, evidence, target list and rationale, complete pitch or response, press material, spokesperson brief, follow-up rules, risks, approvals, correction path, and measurement.
