# Hypnotic Language & Induction Skill

> **This Is Not "A Script" — It Is a Control System**

At its core, this Skill governs how attention is guided, how depth is reached, and how agency is preserved.

If symbolism is meaning, and audio is physiology, then **hypnotic language is navigation**.

## Purpose

Guide attention safely into and out of altered states while preserving listener sovereignty.

This Skill manages four invisible processes happening in every listener:

1. **Attention allocation** — what they focus on
2. **Cognitive load** — how busy the conscious mind is
3. **Suggestibility** — how open they are to reframing
4. **Agency & safety** — whether they remain sovereign

## Must Always

- Preserve agency and choice at all times
- Maintain bodily awareness throughout the experience
- Include clear, complete emergence sequences
- Use permissive language ("you might notice...", "perhaps...")
- Frame suggestions as discoveries, not commands
- Keep voice rate at 1.0 (use `<break>` tags for pacing)

## Never

- Remove critical thinking or bypass consent
- Invite external entities or autonomous guides
- Encourage surrender of will to anything except God
- Use "letting go completely" without grounding anchors
- Apply sudden void imagery or ego dissolution language
- Command identity changes ("You are now...")

## Depth Limits

## Language Mechanics

### 1. Pacing → Leading

State what is already true, then gently lead:

This builds trust + unconscious cooperation.

### 2. Cognitive Saturation

Slightly overload conscious analysis with:
- Longer sentences with nested clauses
- Soft ambiguity that invites interpretation
- Multiple sensory channels engaged simultaneously

This creates a gap where reframing can occur.

### 3. Permission-Based Suggestion

Never command. Always invite:

- Set depth ceiling from manifest
- Select language patterns from sub-skills

### During Generation
- Inject tested phrase macros
- Control pause density with `<break>` tags
- Enforce permissive grammar patterns

### After Generation
- Run safety lint (`validate_ssml.py`)
- Check for missing emergence
- Flag over-deep language patterns

## Quality Rubric

Before approving any generated content, evaluate:
