# Consulting ADRs
The current index is [`docs/adrs/README.md`](../../../docs/adrs/README.md) — read it first; it is
the only reliable map of what has already been decided.
* Read only the ADR(s) relevant to the decision at hand — never all of them — and cite the ADR
numbers in your response.
* If the decision space isn't covered and a significant choice is being made, document it with the
`create-adr` skill.
