# ADR: 請求書PDF生成を非同期キューで処理する

## 背景

請求書のPDF生成には最大45秒かかる。同期生成では、その間にAPI接続が切れるため、利用者が生成結果を安定して受け取れない。

## 判断

請求書のPDF生成はキューに登録して非同期で処理する。APIは生成完了を待たず、受付IDを返す。利用者は受付IDを使って、PDFの完成を待ってから結果を確認する。

## 不採用案

同期生成は採用しない。最大45秒の処理中にAPI接続が切れるためである。

## 結果

非同期処理により、PDF生成の完了をAPI接続中に待つ必要がなくなる。一方、利用者はPDFが完成するまで待つ必要がある。また、生成処理の再試行回数には上限を設ける必要があるが、その値は未決定である。

この判断はPDF生成の受付と処理方式を定める。受付IDの状態確認方法、完成通知の方法、失敗時の利用者向けの扱いは、このADRでは定めない。
