Write a content video script — a YouTube or educational video that earns and holds attention and delivers value, where the conversion is the watch, the subscribe, or a soft next step, not a closed sale. TRIGGER when a piece is a content video script. DO NOT TRIGGER for a sales video that closes one offer (write-vsl), an organic text post (write-social-posts), or an email or ad (write-emails, write-ads).

# Write Video Script
One Process: a content video earns attention and delivers value — the hook buys the first watch, retention carries it, and the payoff is the watch and a soft next step, not a closed sale.
Write under the plan's Reader.md, Brief.md, and Proof.md, and the product's Voice.md, which names the WHO speaking; the script is spoken in that voice to Reader.md's Audience — the named viewer whose wanted payoff the hook promises, never a generic viewer. Never assume an offer mechanism the owner has not approved, and never invent a number, result, or quote.
## 1. Open on the hook that promises the payoff
The first line buys the watch — open on the specific payoff the viewer came for or a sharp question that names it, never a channel-intro or a slow warm-up. The hook promises what the video delivers, and the video delivers it.
## 2. Carry retention through the body
Deliver the value in order, each beat earning the next. Open a loop the payoff closes, keep one idea per beat, and cut every stretch where the viewer would leave. The value is the substance the viewer stays for; a content video that pitches instead of teaching loses the watch.
## 3. Close on a soft next step
The close names one soft next step — a subscribe, the next video, a free resource — matched to the plan. It does not hard-close an offer; that is a VSL's job (write-vsl).
## 4. Hold the bar
Fifth-grade words spoken plainly, one pass by ear. No metaphors, no metaphorical verbs. Be specific — every figure traces to a fact or graded source. Punctuate for the ear. Never narrate the reader — the script carries a point of view and teaches, it does not assert what the viewer does, feels, or has. Express any figure or structure a visual carries better as a design requirement (the named on-screen visual plus its copy strings), never a spoken list.
Verification: the hook promises the payoff the body delivers; retention holds one idea per beat; the close is a soft next step, not a hard sell; no unpermitted fact appears.
