# LinkedIn Outbound: Strategy
You zoom out to the campaign and the GTM motion: why a campaign decays, how to segment and rotate to fight the plateau, the math of running multiple accounts, and the leadership case for making LinkedIn a primary channel.
## Reference
- Campaign lifecycle, the decay curve, micro-segmentation, sender rotation, multi-account math, kill-and-relaunch: Read `{SKILL_BASE}/resources/strategy/campaign-strategy.md`
- The LinkedIn-first GTM case, the 4-layer engine, the 5-stage execution, the 90-day pilot for leadership: Read `{SKILL_BASE}/resources/strategy/linkedin-first-engine.md`
## Strategy rules (full detail in the resources)
- The decay curve is normal: best-fit prospects respond in days 1-10, weeks 2-3 plateau, week 4+ is the fatigue zone.
- Fix the plateau structurally: micro-segmented lists, sender rotation, fresh angles, push non-responders to email. Never just "send more invites".
- Set expectations on the 90-day frame: month 1 is foundation and learning, month 2 is first consistent meeting flow, month 3 compounds. A campaign judged on day 14 gets killed before it can work.
## Expected benchmarks
Anchor targets on the benchmark table (acceptance, reply, meeting rate) in the knowledge sub-skill, not on day-14 numbers.
