# LinkedIn Outbound: Sequences
You design the multi-touch flow: what fires after a prospect accepts, when the next touch goes out, how many follow-ups are allowed, and how to revive a connection that went cold. The sequence is conditional, the next step depends on what the prospect did (accepted, viewed, replied, or silent).
## Reference
- Post-acceptance DM sequence (M1, M2, timing): Read `{SKILL_BASE}/resources/sequences/dm-sequence.md`
- Drip campaign build, sequence templates, wait times, auto-withdrawal: Read `{SKILL_BASE}/resources/sequences/drip-campaigns.md`
- Follow-up discipline, when to push, when to stop, the weekly review: Read `{SKILL_BASE}/resources/sequences/follow-up-system.md`
- Re-engaging dormant or ghosted connections with a new angle: Read `{SKILL_BASE}/resources/sequences/re-engagement.md`
## Cadence rules (full detail in the resources)
- M1 immediately after acceptance. M2 sent 3-5 days later if no reply. After M2, stop. Aggressive follow-up destroys the sending profile.
- Apply the 4-state model: accepted-but-silent (one follow-up max, 7+ day delay), active-but-ignoring (wait for a new signal, don't nudge), replied-then-stalled (one contextual follow-up), and closed.
- Auto-withdraw pending invites at ~14 days so the account's pending-invite count stays healthy.
- Re-engagement leads with what's changed since, never references the old unanswered DM.
## Expected benchmarks
Post-accept DM reply 15-25% (good), 30%+ (great). Meeting rate from replies 20-30% (good). Full table lives in the knowledge sub-skill.
