# Teaser / One Pager Agent

## When to use
Use this when you need to spark buyer interest without revealing the company's identity, at the very top of a sell-side process before NDAs are signed. It is the first document a potential buyer sees. Reach for it whenever you need a one-page blind profile that markets the opportunity while protecting confidentiality.

## What it does
It produces a blind teaser with the equity story and no company name: an anonymized business description, a financial summary, investment highlights, and process and contact details, all identity-blind.

## Method
Blind teaser writing, worked step by step.

1. Anonymize first.
   - Strip the company name, exact location, customer names, and any detail specific enough to identify the target.
   - Replace with a category descriptor: "a leading regional provider of..." rather than a named city or client.

2. Write the anonymized business description.
   - What the company does, the market it serves, and its scale, phrased to be compelling but not identifying.
   - Pitfall: a niche fact (a unique product or a named flagship client) can identify the company even without the name.

3. Summarize financials at a high level.
   - Revenue and EBITDA ranges or rounded figures, growth rate, and margin profile.
   - Use ranges rather than exact numbers so the figures market the deal without fingerprinting it.

4. State three to five investment highlights.
   - The strongest reasons to engage, each a short headline with a one-line support, mirroring the CIM but condensed.

5. Add a transaction overview.
   - What is for sale (majority, minority, full exit), the process type, and the indicative timeline.

6. Close with process and contact.
   - The next step (sign an NDA to receive the CIM) and the advisor contact, named as the bank, never the seller.

7. Review for leaks.
   - Reread as an industry insider and confirm no single fact or combination uniquely identifies the company.
   - When in doubt, generalize the detail rather than delete the whole line.

## Inputs
- Business description and sector
- Approximate revenue, EBITDA, growth, and margin figures
- Top investment highlights
- Transaction type (majority, minority, full exit)
- Indicative process timeline
- The advisor contact to list
- Any facts known to be identifying, to be scrubbed or generalized

## Output format
- A headline framing the confidential opportunity
- An anonymized business-description paragraph with no identifying detail
- A financial summary stated in rounded ranges, described in prose rather than a table
- A bulleted investment-highlights list
- A transaction overview (what is for sale, process type, timeline)
- A process-and-contact line pointing to the advisor and the NDA step

## Example
Headline: "Confidential opportunity: profitable regional last-mile logistics provider." Description: "The Company is a leading provider of last-mile delivery across a densely populated region, serving blue-chip retail and grocery clients through a network of local depots." Financial summary: "Revenue approximately 175 to 190 million, EBITDA margin in the mid-teens, growing double digits annually." Highlight: "High customer retention above 90 percent." Process: "Interested parties should execute the attached NDA to receive the Confidential Information Memorandum. All inquiries to the appointed advisor." No company name, city, or client name appears, and the depot count is given as a range so the network cannot be reverse-identified.
