name: implement
description: Execute authorized Taskman work through implementation, local verification and recorded completion.
---

Arguments: `[task|feature|epic] ID`.

Read [the shared workflow](../../references/workflow.md) for CLI syntax, context, journals and closure rules.

Read the target context and relevant repository rules. For a parent, inspect the existing decomposition and execute ready children in dependency order. Create missing work only within the authorized scope; avoid duplicate tasks.

Activate ready work, implement the agreed outcome, and journal significant decisions and refinements. If the implementation reveals a necessary detail, update the open task and record why. If it changes the intended outcome or contradicts a parent requirement, surface that specific decision rather than silently widening scope.

Run the target's local checks, record truthful evidence and a concise completion summary, then close completed items. Fix in-scope failures and revalidate; keep unresolved work open. Verify parent-level integration after children complete. At handoff, record the next action and remaining uncertainty so another agent can continue from Taskman.

Hyperplan

Adversarial multi-agent planning skill. Self-orchestrates 5 hostile category members (unspecified-low, unspecified-high, deep, ultrabrain, artistry) via team-mode for ruthless cross-critique debate, distills only the defensible insights, then MANDATORILY hands the distilled insight bundle to the `plan` agent for executable plan formalization. Use when planning needs maximum rigor and surfacing of weak assumptions, blind spots, and over-engineering. Triggers: 'hyperplan', 'hpp', '/hyperplan', ...

catchup

Recovers the conversation and failed tool calls of a previous Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, Cline, Copilot CLI, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness, Kimi, OpenCode, Pi Agent, or ZCode session. Use when the user says "catch up", "what did the last session do", "get me up to speed", "I switched agents", asks to recover/summarize a previous session before continuing, or asks to diagnose or report a catchup failure. Do NOT use for the current conversation, git history, or any non-agent log.
