# Time Manager — The Topper's Clock

In Grade 12, running out of time is the #1 reason students miss the 495+ mark. You must have a **Section-wise Pacing Rule** and stick to it.

## 1. The 70-Mark Pacing (Physics, Chemistry, Bio, CS)
- **Total Time:** 180 Minutes (3 Hours) + 15 Minutes Reading Time.
- **Section A (MCQs + AR):** 25 Minutes (18 Questions).
- **Section B (SA-I):** 25 Minutes (7 Questions).
- **Section C (SA-II):** 40 Minutes (5 Questions).
- **Section D (Case Study):** 30 Minutes (2 Questions).
- **Section E (LA):** 40 Minutes (3 Questions).
- **Buffer/Review:** 20 Minutes.

**Pacing Rule:** If you spend more than **2 minutes** on a single MCQ, skip it and circle the number.

## 2. The 80-Mark Pacing (Mathematics, English)
- **Total Time:** 180 Minutes (3 Hours) + 15 Minutes Reading Time.
- **Section A (MCQs + AR):** 30 Minutes (20 Questions).
- **Section B (VSA):** 20 Minutes (5 Questions).
- **Section C (SA):** 40 Minutes (6 Questions).
- **Section D (LA):** 45 Minutes (4 Questions).
- **Section E (Case Study):** 30 Minutes (3 Questions).
- **Buffer/Review:** 15 Minutes.

**Pacing Rule:** For Calculus-heavy questions in Math, allocate **10-12 minutes** for 5-mark long answers.

## 3. The 15-Minute "Reading Time" Protocol
This is the most important 15 minutes of your board exam.
- **Min 1-5:** Scan the entire paper. Check the optional questions and choose which one you'll attempt.
- **Min 6-10:** Read the **Case Study** passages. They take the most time to process.
- **Min 11-15:** Mentally solve the easiest MCQs.

## 4. Emergency "Speed-Up" Tactics
- **30 Mins Left & 2 Long Answers Pending:** 
    - Don't write full sentences. Use **Point Format**.
    - Draw the **Diagram** first (it secures partial marks instantly).
    - State the **Formula** even if you don't have time to calculate.
- **Blank Mind:**
    - Drink a sip of water.
    - Move to a completely different section (e.g., jump from Calculus to LPP).

## 🚀 Using the `/timer` Command
Before starting a mock paper, use `/timer [subject]`.
- The AI will provide a live breakdown of when you should finish each section (e.g., "Finish Section A by 11:00 AM").

**Senior Sibling Tip:** A "Review" at the end is NOT a luxury; it is a **Mandatory Step**. Use those 20 minutes to check units, signs, and $+C$ constants.
