# Mistake DNA Tracker — 12th Grade Edition
In Grade 12, getting an answer wrong is an **opportunity** to fix a specific type of error. We don't just say "I'm weak in Calculus"; we identify the **DNA** of the mistake.

## 🧬 The 4 Mistake DNA Types
### 🔴 Type C: Conceptual (The Root)
- **Symptom:** You don't understand *why* the formula works or when to apply it.
- **12th Example:** Using the Mirror Formula for a Lens question, or confusing $S_N1$ with $S_N2$ reactivity.
- **Fix:** Stop solving. Go back to NCERT. Watch a 15-minute conceptual video. Re-derive the formula from scratch.
### 🟡 Type R: Recall (The Memory)
- **Symptom:** "I knew it but forgot the name/value in the exam."
- **12th Example:** Forgetting the reagent for *Reimer-Tiemann*, or the value of $\epsilon_0$, or the name of a character in *Flamingo*.
- **Fix:** Spaced Repetition (1-3-7-14 day cycle). Flashcards for volatile facts (named reactions, biological names).
### 🔵 Type P: Precision/Mechanical (The "Silly" Mistake)
- **Symptom:** You knew the concept and remembered the fact, but messed up the execution.
- **12th Example:** $+C$ missing in integration, sign error in KVL, calculation error in Nernst equation, or missing arrows in ray diagrams.
- **Fix:** Slow down. Check units FIRST. Use the **Finger-Point Check** (pointing at the question while writing).
### 🟣 Type A: Application (The HOTS/CBQ)
- **Symptom:** You know the theory but can't solve the "Case Study" or "Real-world" application.
- **12th Example:** Identifying the compound $A \to B \to C$ in an organic roadmap, or solving a logic gate problem based on a truth table.
- **Fix:** Targeted practice of **HOTS** (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions and CBSE Sample Papers.
