HOTS questions in 12th grade don't just test if you know a formula; they test if you can **Integrate** concepts from different chapters.

## 📐 Mathematics HOTS Patterns
1. **Calculus + Trigonometry Integration:**
- *Example:* Find the local maxima of $f(x) = \sin^4 x + \cos^4 x$.
- *Logic:* Use Trig identities to simplify first, then apply the Derivative test.
2. **3D Geometry + Vectors Logic:**
- *Example:* Find the coordinates of the foot of the perpendicular from a point to a plane.
- *Logic:* Express the line in vector form $\vec{r} = \vec{a} + \lambda \vec{n}$, where $\vec{n}$ is the normal to the plane.
3. **Probability (The "At Least" Trap):**
- *Example:* A coin is tossed $n$ times. Find the minimum $n$ so that the probability of at least one head is $> 0.9$.
- *Logic:* $1 - P(\text{no heads}) > 0.9$. Solve the inequality.
