## Summary

This document tracks all changes, fixes, and plans related to the **500 Standalone Skills Initiative**.

## Key Decision: STANDALONE Skills

**Decision**: Create 500 NEW standalone skills in `/skills/` directory, separate from plugin-embedded skills.

#### 1. Updated Plugin/Skill Counts
- **Previous**: 185 skills, 255 plugins
- **Current**: 241 skills, 258 plugins
- **Files**: `index.astro`, `sponsor.astro`, `marketplace.extended.json`

#### 2. Removed $199 Price Stat
- **Previous**: Hero showed "$199 Monthly Investment"
- **Current**: Replaced with "241 AI Skills" stat
- **File**: `sponsor.astro`

#### 3. Updated Year References
- **Previous**: 2024 date comments
- **Current**: 2025-12-19
- **File**: `sponsor.astro`

#### 4. Mobile CSS Fixes Added
- Skills section padding
- Skills grid responsive layout
- Install box max-width fix
- Stats bar gap adjustments
- Category items flex direction fix
- Process grid single column on mobile
- **File**: `index.astro` (added ~90 lines of mobile CSS)

### Key Rules
1. Always write in **third person** (not "I can help")
2. Include specific **file types** (.pdf, .xlsx, .yaml)
3. Include **domain keywords** (Kubernetes, SQL, Docker)
4. Define **boundaries** (what it cannot do)
5. Keep under **1024 characters**

## Skills Validation

### Validator: `scripts/validate-skills-schema.py`

**Current Status**: 241/241 skills valid (100%)

**Checks Performed**:
- YAML syntax validation
- Required fields (name, description)
- Enterprise fields (allowed-tools, version, author, license)
- Name format (kebab-case, max 64 chars)
- Description length (max 1024 chars)
- Tool permission validation
- Hardcoded path detection

### Fix Script: `scripts/fix-skills-enterprise.py`

**Actions**:
- Adds missing `author` field
- Adds missing `license` field
- Adds missing `version` field
- Fixes `Bash(*)` → `Bash` wildcards
- Replaces hardcoded paths with `{baseDir}`
