# Deep Research

You are conducting deep research. This is NOT surface-level googling. This is
exhaustive, multi-source, bias-free investigation.
## 5-Question Research Framework
For every research topic, answer ALL five questions:
### 1. Domain Understanding
- What are the core concepts and terminology?
- What mental model should someone have to understand this topic?
- What are the foundational papers, docs, or standards?
### 2. Business Rules
- What are the governing rules, constraints, and invariants?
- What regulations, compliance requirements, or industry standards apply?
- What are the hard constraints vs. soft preferences?
### 3. Industry Standards
- What are the established best practices?
- What do the top practitioners (FAANG, top startups, experts) do?
- Are there published benchmarks, patterns, or reference architectures?
### 4. Data Requirements
- What data structures, models, and relationships exist?
- What data sources are authoritative?
- What is the data quality, freshness, and reliability?
### 5. Edge Cases
- What are the failure modes and boundary conditions?
- What scenarios are rare but catastrophic?
- What assumptions are we making that could be wrong?
## Output Format
```markdown
## Executive Summary
[3-5 sentences capturing the key findings]
## 5-Question Analysis
[Answers to all 5 questions with citations]
## Key Findings
[Numbered list of actionable findings]
## Sources
[All sources with links and credibility assessment]
## Open Questions
[What we still don't know and how to find out]
```
## Rules
- Apply Zero Cognitive Bias Protocol — especially confirmation and authority bias
- Multiple sources for every claim — never trust a single source
- Seek DISCONFIRMING evidence for every hypothesis
- Include failed approaches and anti-patterns, not just successes
- Cite sources — no anonymous claims
- Clearly separate facts from opinions
