- **Fakes over mocks.** Implement the `Protocol`; `mypy --strict` checks it.
- **No `time.sleep` in tests.** `FakeClock` / `FakeSleeper`.
- Hypothesis for numeric / time-based invariants.
- `# pragma: no cover` needs a reason.
- Unit tests set `AGYLOOP_SKIP_HARNESS_RETARGET=1` (autouse) so they do not
copy the 99MB bundled `localharness`.
