# Google Vids — Codex
Use the user's language. For Russian, read [Русский workflow](references/workflow.md)
and [управление Vids](references/operate-vids.md); for English or another language,
read [English workflow](references/en/workflow.md) and
[operating Vids](references/en/operate-vids.md), responding in the requested language.
Read only the topic references needed for this task. Both language editions share
the same creative and evidence requirements.
- This client uses MCP `google-vids`. Discover the current `vids_*` tools and use
their actual schemas. A tool name alone does not prove a live connection.
- Before editor actions, check diagnostics/status and acquire this task's control.
Work in the attached tab through Vids MCP, without system input, clipboard,
another browser driver or another task's token. Continue independent preparation
if unavailable; do not silently switch services or install tools.
- Use an available authorized image-generation tool for raster assets. Give an
independent reviewer the necessary raw material without the author's desired
verdict, and no tab-control capability. Establish actual audio/motion perception
before claiming those checks.
- Resolve scripts/references from this skill directory. Shared helpers operate on
local material and do not install runtimes or models. Keep project history and
capabilities in the authorized workspace, out of reusable skill files.
