## Tesla's Mental Laboratory Method
"I do not rush into constructive work. When I get an idea, I start right away to build it up in my mind. I change the structure, I make improvements, I experiment, I run the device in my mind."

- Apply inputs and watch outputs

**Phase 4: Iteration**
- Make modifications to address issues
- Test variations—different materials, configurations, approaches
- Compare alternatives in rapid mental experiments
- "I change the structure, I make improvements"
**Phase 5: Stress Testing**
- Run the mental model under extreme conditions
- Check for wear, tear, and failure modes
- Identify weak points before they manifest physically
