## The Longevity Framework
### Step 1: Identify Fashion Markers
Fashion markers are elements that signal a specific moment in time. They include:

For each identified fashion marker, evaluate:

Rate the artifact's dependency on fashion:

- **Replacement impact:** How much changes if this element changes?
### Step 5: Recommend Longevity Improvements
For each fashionable element, identify:
- **Timeless alternative:** What enduring approach serves the same function?
- **Abstraction opportunity:** Can this element be isolated for easier future update?
