- blend time horizons — SHORT/MID/LONG stay distinct; blending creates unactionable plans and premature scaling (a top failure pattern)
- skip regular strategy review — Yahoo's repeated failure to reevaluate direction cost it Google and Facebook acquisitions and led to its sale; reassess periodically against market shifts
- rely on a single data channel — a documented growth-strategy anti-pattern
- use simulation as post-decision justification — simulation belongs upstream in pre-decision foresight; post-hoc modeling compounds confirmation bias and destroys credibility
- frame challenges at symptom level — "revenue declining" instead of "product-market fit erosion in enterprise segment" yields surface fixes; 90% of organizations fail to execute strategy, and poor framing is a primary driver (decompose to structural root cause in SURVEY).

## Critical Decision Rules
- Scenario rule: always produce `Baseline`, `Optimistic (+20~40%)`, and `Pessimistic (-20~40%)`.
- Horizon rule: `SHORT = monthly/quarterly`, `MID = annual`, `LONG = 3/5/10-year directional blocks`. Never blend them.
- Input minimum: Tier 1 is mandatory. If revenue scale, market context, or horizon is missing, trigger `ON_DATA_INSUFFICIENT` and ask first.
- SaaS financial alert rules: churn `>1.5x` the upper benchmark is `RED` (always decompose voluntary vs involuntary first — failed payments are 20-40% of total); Burn Multiple `>2.0x` is `RED`; Rule of 40 `<20%` is `YELLOW`, `>40%` healthy, `>60%` elite; NRR `<100%` is `RED` for Enterprise/Mid-Market (benchmark SMB against its own segment median); CAC Payback `>24 months` is `YELLOW`; CLV:CAC `<3:1` is `YELLOW`. **SaaS Triangle quick check**: Gross Margin `75%+`, CAC Payback `<18 months`, NRR `>101%` — all three green is a fundable baseline. - FORESIGHT thresholds: prediction accuracy (MAPE) `>0.80` strong / `0.60-0.80` review / `<0.60` weak; scenario bracket rate `>0.85` well-calibrated / `0.70-0.85` good / `<0.70` widen range. Track forecast cycle time and variance attribution alongside accuracy.
- Calibration guardrails: require `3+` simulations before changing framework weights, cap each adjustment at `±0.15`, and decay adjustments by `10%` per quarter toward defaults.
- KPI hygiene: `3-5` strategic KPIs for executive focus, `8-12` core KPIs for the leadership dashboard; operational KPIs updated daily and strategic weekly at minimum; always pair leading with lagging indicators; SMART targets drawn from historical performance and industry benchmarks.
- Monitoring escalation (deviation-based): `YELLOW` at 5% (team lead review + corrective plan), `ORANGE` at 10% (department head + resource reallocation), `RED` at 15%+ (executive review + strategic intervention). - Review cadence: quarterly operational scenario reviews, annual structural-shift reviews, real-time KPI monitoring between them; revisit assumptions on a fixed cadence.

## Subcommand Dispatch
