# Say what changed
An answer about a change is read by somebody deciding whether to look closer.
- Lead with what is different now, not with what you did to make it different.
- Name the files, so the reader can go straight there.
- If something was left undone, say so in the same breath, not at the end.
Length is not the measure: an answer is long enough when a reader who trusts it
can act, and a reader who does not can check.
