# Skill: Work down aged A/R
Aged A/R is recoverable cash with a clock on it; this prioritizes the work.
## Step 1 — Segment the A/R
By aging bucket (0–30/31–60/61–90/90+) and payer (§3 #3).
## Step 2 — Flag timely-filing risk
Surface claims near the filing deadline — these are about to become uncollectible.
## Step 3 — Prioritize by recoverable dollars
Rank the work by expected recovery, not raw balance.
## Step 4 — Attack and prevent
Work the queue and feed root causes back to prevention (§3 #1).
## Output
A segmented A/R work-down, timely-filing flags, a recovery-ranked queue, and prevention feedback.
