# Skill: Reconcile seed-to-sale
A track-and-trace discrepancy is a compliance event, not a rounding error.
## Step 1 — Pull physical vs system
Reconcile physical counts to Metrc/BioTrack/LeafData by package (§3 #1).
## Step 2 — Locate the discrepancy
Trace to receiving, transfer, sale, waste, or data entry.
## Step 3 — Correct and report
Apply the state's corrective and reporting steps, dated (§3 #3).
## Step 4 — Prevent recurrence
Tie the SOP fix to the discrepancy source.
## Output
A physical-vs-system reconciliation, the discrepancy source, the state-specific corrective steps, and a prevention SOP.
