# Skill: Model the interconnection queue

Interconnection gates most projects more than construction does.

## Step 1 — Read the queue position
Where the project sits and the study sequence/timeline (§3 #2).

## Step 2 — Anticipate upgrades
Likely network-upgrade allocation and its cost.

## Step 3 — Frame the schedule risk
Map the interconnection milestones onto the development critical path.

## Step 4 — Price the risk
Put the upgrade-cost and delay risk into the economics.

## Output
A queue read, an upgrade-cost estimate, the schedule-risk mapping, and the priced risk.
