# 2.2.3 App Arbitrage

This skill defines the methodology for capitalizing on legacy mobile ecosystems by identifying high-volume, poor-UX applications, reverse-engineering their core utility, and rebuilding them using AI.

## 1. Niche Identification
* **Target:** Legacy applications with high download volume but poor user interfaces and predatory monetization.
* **Categories:** Productivity & Utilities (e.g., QR Scanners, Notification Managers) and Regional Casual Gaming (e.g., Board Games/Bingo).

## 2. AI Integration & App Creation
* Utilize AI tools for front-end structure (v0.dev, Bolt.new, Superapp, Screen2Code).
* Assign strict UI expert personas. Emphasize minimalism and intuitive navigation.
* Verify architectural logic before generating code to prevent hallucination.

## 3. Platform Compliance
* **Apple:** Adhere to Guideline 4.1 (Copycats) and 4.2 (Functionality). Ensure substantial differentiation and pristine interface.
* **Google Play:** Avoid spam/repetitive content. Ensure ads do not interrupt core functionality. Include robust user privacy logic.

## 4. Monetization Framework
Execute a Hybrid Monetization Architecture:
* **In-App Advertising (IAA):** For free-tier users (Rewarded Video, Playable, Interstitial, Banner).
* **Subscriptions (IAP/Web Billing):** For "Power Users". Perfect the Paywall via rigorous A/B Testing. Focus on Renewals Revenue and maintain Refund Rate under 10%.

## 5. Growth & Retention
* Conduct Keyword Gap Analysis for ASO.
* Create high-contrast screenshots and localized visual assets.
* Trigger rating prompts at peak user satisfaction. Utilize segmented, contextual Push Notifications to prevent churn.

Hyperplan

Adversarial multi-agent planning skill. Self-orchestrates 5 hostile category members (unspecified-low, unspecified-high, deep, ultrabrain, artistry) via team-mode for ruthless cross-critique debate, distills only the defensible insights, then MANDATORILY hands the distilled insight bundle to the `plan` agent for executable plan formalization. Use when planning needs maximum rigor and surfacing of weak assumptions, blind spots, and over-engineering. Triggers: 'hyperplan', 'hpp', '/hyperplan', ...

catchup

Recovers the conversation and failed tool calls of a previous Codex, Amp, Claude Code, Antigravity, Cline, Copilot CLI, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness, Grok Build, Kimi, OpenCode, Pi Agent, or ZCode session. Use when the user says "catch up", "what did the last session do", "get me up to speed", "I switched agents", asks to recover/summarize a previous session before continuing, or asks to diagnose or report a catchup failure. Do NOT use for the current conversation, git history, or any non-agent log.
