# Kotlin Coroutines & Flows

Structured concurrency, Flow-based reactive streams, and coroutine testing for Android and KMP. Detalhes em `references/`.

## When to Activate

- Writing async code with Kotlin coroutines
- Using Flow, StateFlow, or SharedFlow for reactive data
- Handling concurrent operations (parallel loading, debounce, retry)
- Testing coroutines and Flows
- Managing coroutine scopes and cancellation

## Core Principles

1. **Structured concurrency only** — `viewModelScope`/`LaunchedEffect`, never `GlobalScope`
2. **Parallel via `coroutineScope` + `async`** — `supervisorScope` when siblings must survive
3. **StateFlow for UI state** — `WhileSubscribed(5_000)`; SharedFlow for one-time events
4. **Right dispatcher per job** — Default for CPU, IO for JVM/Android IO, Main for UI
5. **Cooperative cancellation** — `ensureActive()` in loops, `try/finally` for cleanup

## Example

```kotlin
suspend fun loadDashboard(): Dashboard = coroutineScope {
    val items = async { itemRepository.getRecent() }
    val stats = async { statsRepository.getToday() }
    Dashboard(items = items.await(), stats = stats.await())
}
```

## References

- `references/structured-concurrency.md` — scope hierarchy, parallel decomposition, supervisorScope
- `references/flows.md` — cold Flow, StateFlow, combine, operators, SharedFlow events
- `references/dispatchers-cancellation.md` — dispatchers, KMP notes, cooperative cancellation
- `references/testing.md` — Turbine, TestDispatcher, fakes, anti-patterns, related skills

## Checklist

- [ ] No `GlobalScope`; every launch tied to a lifecycle scope
- [ ] UI state is StateFlow with `WhileSubscribed`; events are SharedFlow
- [ ] Immutable copies in `_state.update`, never caught `CancellationException`
- [ ] Tests use `runTest` + Turbine/`advanceUntilIdle` with fake repositories
- [ ] KMP code avoids JVM-only `Dispatchers.IO`

Caveman

Ultra-compressed communication mode. Cuts token usage ~75% by speaking like caveman while keeping full technical accuracy. Supports intensity levels: lite, full (default), ultra, wenyan-lite, wenyan-full, wenyan-ultra. Use when user says "caveman mode", "talk like caveman", "use caveman", "less tokens", "be brief", or invokes /caveman. Also auto-triggers when token efficiency is requested.

Hyperplan

Adversarial multi-agent planning skill. Self-orchestrates 5 hostile category members (unspecified-low, unspecified-high, deep, ultrabrain, artistry) via team-mode for ruthless cross-critique debate, distills only the defensible insights, then MANDATORILY hands the distilled insight bundle to the `plan` agent for executable plan formalization. Use when planning needs maximum rigor and surfacing of weak assumptions, blind spots, and over-engineering. Triggers: 'hyperplan', 'hpp', '/hyperplan', ...

Mcp Code Execution

Routes multi-tool workflows through MCP servers for large datasets and pipelines. Use when Bash tool overhead is limiting throughput on data-heavy tasks.

catchup

Recovers prior coding-agent session context by running `catchup <agent> --since-compact`, which extracts a clean summary of a previous Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, OpenCode, or Pi Agent session. Use when the user says "catch up", "what did the last session do", "get me up to speed", "I switched agents", or asks to recover/summarize a previous session before continuing. Do NOT use for the current conversation, git history, or any non-agent log.
