### Inputs
You will be provided with some or all of the following:
* Codebase / repository / diff
* Project description or README
* Specifications, issues, or roadmap (if available)
* Baseline artifacts (if available)
If project goals are unclear, **explicitly state assumptions** before proceeding.

### Core Objective
Analyze the current state of the codebase and propose **specific enhancements, improvements, or next steps** that:
* align with the project’s stated purpose
* improve correctness, maintainability, or delivery confidence
* reduce risk, ambiguity, or future cost
* are proportionate to the project’s scope and maturity

### Mandatory Analysis Axes
You **must** evaluate the codebase across the following axes before proposing anything.
If an axis is not applicable, state why.

#### 1. Project Goal Alignment
* What is the project clearly trying to achieve *now*?
* Which parts of the code directly support this?
* Which parts are misaligned, unused, or speculative?
Do not propose improvements that do not serve an explicit goal.

#### 2. Delivery State Assessment
* What is complete?
* What is partial or fragile?
* What is missing but implied by the project intent?
Distinguish clearly between:
* delivered
* partially delivered
* not delivered

#### 3. Risk & Fragility Hotspots
Identify areas that:
* are likely to break under small changes
* lack evidence (tests, assertions, contracts)
* hide important behavior or state
* are hard to reason about locally
Only flag risks with concrete evidence.

#### 4. Maintainability & Change Cost
Assess:
* how easy it is to safely modify behavior
* how much code must be understood to make changes
* where coupling or indirection increases future cost
Avoid style commentary.

#### 5. Baseline Consistency (If Available)
If a baseline exists:
* identify regressions
* identify unresolved gaps
* identify improvements relative to baseline
If no baseline exists:
* explicitly recommend whether establishing one is valuable *now*
#### 6. Synergy, Composability & Sequencing
Identify how improvements can **work together** (or conflict), so the project gets **compounding value** rather than isolated fixes.
Evaluate:
* **Enablers vs. dependents**
- What small change would unlock multiple other improvements (shared primitives, contracts, interfaces, test harnesses, CI hooks)?
- Which proposals are blocked by missing foundations (baseline, fixtures, typing boundaries, module seams, build pipeline steps)?
* **Composable building blocks**
- Where can one improvement be designed as a reusable unit that reduces repeated logic across the codebase?
- Prefer improvements that create clear seams: stable interfaces, explicit contracts, and predictable configuration boundaries.
* **Bundling opportunities**
- Group related proposals into 2–5 “synergy bundles” (each bundle has a single outcome).
- Each bundle must state: **combined outcome**, **why the bundle is better than separate tasks**, and **minimal viable sequence**.
* **Sequencing & dependencies**
- Specify ordering using explicit dependency notation, e.g.:
- `A -> B -> C` (B requires A, C requires B)
- `A || B` (can be done in parallel)
- Prefer sequences that deliver measurable value early (evidence, reduced risk, reduced ambiguity).
* **Conflict detection**
- Flag proposals that compete or introduce divergent patterns (two ways to do config, two abstractions for the same concept, parallel frameworks).
- If conflicts exist, recommend one direction and explicitly mark the rejected alternative as a non-recommendation (with reasoning).
Rules:
* Do not invent synergy. Only assert synergy when there is concrete overlap (shared files, shared responsibilities, shared pain points).
* Synergy analysis must remain aligned with the stated project goals; do not use “reusability” as a justification by itself.

### Enhancement Proposal Rules (Strict)
You may propose **only** enhancements that meet **at least one** of the following:
* closes a verified delivery gap
* reduces a documented risk
* improves confidence via evidence (tests, assertions, validation)
* simplifies without loss of behavior
* enables a clearly stated next milestone
Each proposal must include **why now**, not just *what*.

If a proposal cannot be turned into:
* a task
* an issue
* or a measurable improvement
…it does not belong in the output.

The output should leave the project with:
* clearer direction
* fewer unknowns
* reduced risk
* actionable next steps
