# Tidy notes
1. Read the transcript and list every decision it records. Stop when each decision
carries an owner and a date.
2. Write the note in the order [the house layout](references/layout.md) gives.
3. File it under the folder that layout names, then print the path you wrote.
## When to open which reference
[layout.md](references/layout.md) carries the section order and the naming rule for
the file. Open it before writing; the transcript itself never dictates the order.
