# Lean Storytelling Skill
## Purpose
This skill helps you craft a compelling, structured story using the Lean Storytelling methodology. It transforms your raw information into a clear, professional narrative that follows the proven structure of Context, Target, Empathy, Problem, Consequences, Solution, Benefits, and Why.
## How to Use
1. **Fill in the sections below** with your specific information
2. **Be concise and specific** - provide clear, actionable details
3. **Focus on your target audience** - think about who will hear this story
4. **Use professional language** - avoid jargon and keep it accessible
## Input Sections
### Context
Describe the environment, situation, or background where your story takes place. What's happening in the industry, market, or daily operations?
**Example:** "In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape where customer expectations are higher than ever..."
### Target
Who is the main character of your story? Be specific about their role, responsibilities, and characteristics.
**Example:** "Product managers at mid-sized technology companies who are responsible for driving product strategy and execution..."
### Empathy
What does your target see, feel, hear, and say in their daily work? Step into their shoes and describe their experience.
**Example:** "They feel overwhelmed by competing priorities and constant stakeholder demands. They hear conflicting feedback from customers and leadership..."
### Problem
What specific challenge or pain point does your target face? What's preventing them from achieving their goals?
**Example:** "They struggle to clearly communicate their product vision and value proposition to stakeholders, leading to misaligned priorities and delayed decisions..."
### Consequences
How does this problem impact their daily work, relationships, or results? What happens if nothing changes?
**Example:** "This leads to frustrated teams, missed opportunities, and products that don't meet market needs. Decisions get delayed, roadmaps lose credibility, and team morale suffers..."
### Solution
What is your offering or approach that addresses this problem? Keep it concise and focused on the what.
**Example:** "Lean Storytelling provides a simple 3-part framework that helps product managers structure their message clearly and persuasively..."
### Benefits
What tangible advantages does your solution provide? What does your target gain or achieve?
**Example:** "They can walk into stakeholder meetings with confidence, align teams around a shared vision, and make faster, more informed decisions that drive product success..."
### Why
What is the deeper purpose or motivation behind this story? Why does this matter beyond the transaction?
**Example:** "Because clear communication is the foundation of great products, and when teams understand the 'why' behind decisions, they can innovate more effectively and deliver exceptional customer value..."
