# Native task-board skill template

Write `TARGET/.codex/skills/task-board/SKILL.md` with frontmatter keys `name` and `description` only. The workflow supports view, add, move, backlog, groom, and close against the single canonical `.codex/features/board.md`.

ADD/acceptance/GROOM promotion ALWAYS writes a REAL task file from TASK_TEMPLATE.md with filled Context/Acceptance, Methodology/domain reviews/tests (or gaps), base work units/owners/dependencies and COMPLETE unique saved prompt containing actual id/root/paths/goal/base work/acceptance; no unresolved hints/tokens. Add its actual board file link, graph and PROGRESS in the same change. Every accepted todo/progress task needs this record; only raw unaccepted backlog ideas may be table-only. Queued cron state prepared, scheduler id empty; do not start a timer for queued work. Before claim/transition, repair incomplete legacy records without discarding decisions, refresh method/prompt for corrections, then move the file/update FM/board. Bulk work may use native task-tracker through Codex collaboration. Validate with the Codex skill quick validator.

Read METHODOLOGY.md + ANTI-DRIFT.md before add/claim/tick. Prepare each accepted task's Methodology (goal/acceptance, domain review/tests, work units/owners/dependencies, parent id) and unique complete plain tick prompt/runtime state. Main-session task-board alone creates/reconciles one native session-reminders schedule per active top-level task, hourly by default/user override; children share their parent's schedule. Follow ref 11's verified prepare/run/bind, inspect/reuse, stop/verify/replace lifecycle. Announce actual schedule id, timezone, full prompt, cadence/count, first/last due times and stop/status controls. Missing helper/transport -> save intent and report unavailable. No unattended persistence or tool interruption is promised. VIEW/plan mode read/report only; defer writes/timers to execution.

After transition/tick, rebuild graph from board/task evidence: all unfinished nodes + latest 10 done, archive older evidence before pruning; refresh PROGRESS. Each delivered tick rereads task/shared method, anti-drift, goal/scope/spec/user corrections, obtains owner evidence, force-checks/corrects drift and advances unblocked authorized work. Report at most five compact lines: local time/timezone, tick number, elapsed, achievements, remaining/next, present blockers/questions, drift verdict; circles only 🟢🔵🔴⚪. Completion/cancellation/parking stops/verifies the bound timer before recording stopped state.
