# RFC: 商品検索基盤の方式選定

## 1. 背景・課題
商品検索が遅く、特に部分一致検索の性能改善が必要である。現時点では計測値・費用の情報はない。

## 2. 比較案

### 方式A: 既存DB索引の追加
- 既存DB内で完結するため、運用対象は増えない
- 部分一致検索は速くならない

### 方式B: 検索専用サービスの導入（提案）
- 部分一致検索の高速化が期待できる
- 検索専用サービスの運用が新たに必要
- DBから検索サービスへの反映に遅延が生じる

## 3. 提案
方式Bを採用する。今回の主な課題である部分一致検索を改善できるためである。

検索結果は最大60秒古くても許容する案とする。ただし、この許容について業務側の承認はまだ得られていないため、実装開始前に確認する。

## 4. 合意が必要な事項
1. 検索専用サービスを別サービスとして運用すること
2. DB更新から検索結果への反映が最大60秒遅延することを許容すること（業務側承認が必要）

## 5. 合意後の確認事項
方式Bの採用後、性能目標、運用費用、監視・障害時の対応、および実測に基づく効果を別途確認する。
