# RFC: 商品検索基盤の方式

## 背景・課題
商品検索が遅く、特に部分一致検索の性能改善が必要である。現時点では計測値・費用見積もりは未取得。

## 選択肢

### 方式A: 既存DB索引を追加
- 運用対象を増やさずに導入できる
- 部分一致検索の高速化は期待できない

### 方式B: 検索専用サービスを導入（提案）
- 部分一致検索を高速化できる
- 検索専用サービスの運用が必要になる
- DBから検索サービスへの反映に遅延が発生する

## 提案
方式Bを採用する。今回の主要課題である部分一致検索の改善に直接対応できるためである。

検索結果は最大60秒古くても許容する案とする。ただし、この鮮度要件は業務側の承認前であり、承認を採用条件とする。

## 合意が必要な事項
1. 検索専用サービスを別サービスとして運用すること
2. DB更新から検索結果への反映が最大60秒遅れることを許容すること

## リスク・確認事項
- 別サービスの運用負荷、障害対応、監視方法を決める必要がある
- 60秒の反映遅延が業務要件を満たすか、業務側の承認が必要
- 性能改善効果、費用、運用負荷は計測・見積もり後に検証する

## 決定
上記2点について開発チームおよび業務側の合意を得た後、方式Bの実装・導入計画を確定する。
