# 検索基盤の方式に関するRFC

## 状態
提案中。開発チームの合意を求める。

## 問題
商品検索が遅い。特に部分一致検索の速度改善が必要である。

## 提案
検索専用サービスを導入する方式Bを採用する。方式Bでは部分一致検索を高速化できる一方、別サービスの運用と、データをDBから反映するまでの遅延が発生する。

検索結果は最大60秒古くても許容する案とする。ただし、業務側はまだ承認していないため、この条件は未決定である。

## 代替案
方式Aは既存DBに索引を追加する。運用対象は増えないが、部分一致検索は速くならないため、提案には採用しない。

## 影響
方式Bを採用すると、検索専用サービスの運用が必要になる。また、DBの変更が検索結果へ反映されるまで遅延が生じる。計測値と費用は未確認である。

## 合意が必要な事項
- 別サービスを運用すること
- 検索結果の最大60秒の古さを許容すること
