# 検索基盤の方式に関するRFC

## 問題
商品検索が遅い。特に、部分一致検索の速度を改善する方式を選ぶ必要がある。

## 提案
検索専用サービスを導入する方式Bを採用する。方式Bは部分一致検索を高速化できるためである。検索結果は最大60秒古くても許容する案とするが、業務側の承認はまだ得ていない。

## 適用範囲
本RFCでは、商品検索の方式と、検索結果の反映遅延に関する許容条件を扱う。計測値や費用は未確認であり、方式の比較には含めない。

## 代替案

方式Aは運用対象を増やさない一方、今回の課題である部分一致検索を改善できないため、提案しない。

## 影響
方式Bを採用すると、開発チームは検索専用サービスを運用する必要がある。また、DBの更新が検索結果へ反映されるまで遅延が生じる。最大60秒の遅延を許容する場合、この条件を業務側と合意する必要がある。

2. 検索結果が最大60秒古くなることを許容するか。

提案中。業務側による60秒の遅延許容は未承認である。
