# 検索基盤の方式変更 RFC

## 問題
商品検索が遅い。方式を選び、開発チームの合意を得る。

## 提案
検索専用サービスを導入する方式Bを採用する。部分一致の検索を速くできるためである。

検索結果は、DBの更新から最大60秒遅れてよい案とする。ただし、この許容時間は業務側の承認前であり、未決定である。

## 適用範囲
商品検索を対象とする。計測値と費用は未取得のため、このRFCでは評価しない。

## 代替案
方式Aでは既存DBに索引を追加する。運用対象は増えないが、部分一致は速くならないため採用しない。

## 影響
方式Bでは、検索専用サービスの運用が必要になる。また、DBの更新が検索サービスへ反映されるまで遅延が生じる。

## 合意が必要な事項
- 別サービスを運用すること
- 検索結果が最大60秒古くてもよいこと

## 状態
提案中。上記2点の合意後に採否を決める。
