Write a narrative component — a founder origin, a customer story, a before-after, a case study told as a story — built only from captured evidence, delivered to the piece's writer. TRIGGER when a piece needs a story that carries the one belief shift, or a narrative proof block. DO NOT TRIGGER to write the surrounding page or email (the write-page and write-email skills), to find the idea the story carries (big-idea), or to check a claim in it (check-claims).

# Write Story
One Process: a story teaches what a lesson cannot — build the narrative from captured evidence only, so the reader follows a character past their sales guard and arrives at the belief the piece needs.
Evidence (owner, verbatim): "teaching happens through STORIES not lessons"
Write under the plan's Reader.md, Brief.md, and Proof.md, and the product's Voice.md, which names the WHO speaking (founder, company, or champion); the story is told in that voice. The character's world is one Reader.md's Audience — the named buyer — recognizes as their own, never a generic reader's. The story is a component delivered to the piece's writer; it never edits the final piece.
## 1. Build only from captured evidence
### Never invent a customer, a result, or a moment
Every character, number, quote, and event traces to a graded source or a product fact (the research skills captured them; check-claims gates them). A story with a fabricated customer or result is worse than no story — one caught invention discredits every true claim around it. When the evidence is thin, tell the smaller true story, never the bigger invented one.
### Name the one belief the story exists to shift
Brief.md names the belief (its big idea). The story carries exactly one. A narrative that teaches several lessons carries none.
## 2. Build a character and a world the reader recognizes
Introduce the character (the customer, or the founder), render their situation in specific sensory detail the evidence supports, then move through the challenge as narrative — Star, Story, Solution: the character, the challenge they lived, the result the product made possible. The reader follows the character, then realizes the result could be theirs.
The result arrives as something that happened to the character, never as a claim addressed at the reader. Let the change land in the scene; do not stop to explain its lesson.
## 3. Hold the bar
Fifth-grade words, one read. No metaphors, no metaphorical verbs. Be specific — the specific moment, the specific number, all traced. Punctuate for consumption. Never narrate the reader — the story is about the character, and the reader is never told what they do, feel, or have.
## 4. Close inside the scene, hand forward
The story closes on the character's changed state, not on a moral and not on a quotable clincher. It hands the belief it built to the piece's writer, who spends it in the surrounding argument.
Verification: every character, result, and moment traces to captured evidence; the story carries one belief; it reads as a scene a person lived, not a lesson delivered.
