The market axis of the deep pass — mine ONE part of the market's structure deep from primary sources: how money moves in that segment, how people buy, and the observable sizes and spend, verbatim with URLs and dates. TRIGGER when one discovered part of the market structure needs its records extracted. DO NOT TRIGGER to enumerate the market's structure broad (discover-market), to mine one group's language (research-audience), or to study a competitor's own pages (research-competitor).

# Research Market
Run /research; this adds only the market axis. research owns the trust check, the page gate, the fetched-page record rule, the listicle and SEO-blog ban, the verbatim-or-PARAPHRASE record format with its URL and dates, and the write to `research/<subject>/<topic>.md` — hold to it and add only what follows.
Inputs: the one part of the market's structure, from discover-market's lists, and the domain from the research `Brief.md` — nothing else. Excluded: owner facts, product facts, any persona or target buyer, and any solution shape — you mine what the market shows about itself, never confirm a guess. The dispatch carries this part and the domain only, with no reference to a sibling thread.
## Mine the one part of the market deep
Take the one part discovery surfaced and mine it deep from primary surfaces — the sellers' own pricing and buying pages, the platforms and marketplaces that carry the category, industry bodies and public filings — capturing verbatim, each sorted into its own topic file:
- **How money moves** — the exact pricing and billing shapes the sellers publish: the tiers, the price points, the billing model, quoted from the page they sit on.
- **How people buy** — the observed buying path the category shows: the signup flow, the sales motion, the marketplace or agency route, described from what the page shows.
- **Sizes and spend** — the countable figures the market publishes about itself: revenue, headcount, subscriber and member counts, typical price points — each read off its own page, with the source's date.
"Plans start at $49/mo, billed annually" quoted from the pricing page is the record; "mid-market SaaS pricing" destroys it. Never invent a record to fill a slot — an empty slot is an honest record.
### An observed figure is a record that one source published it
A revenue figure, a member count, or a price point is a record that this source published it on this date, never proof the category is that size or that a market exists to enter. Capture the figure in the source's words with its date; never total it into a market size or rank it. Whether it is a real market is the judged-files step's, from these records.
### Record primary surfaces, never a round-up's summary
An industry round-up or market-size blog is a place to find the primary source, never the record. Follow it to the seller's own page, the platform's own numbers, or the filing itself, and record from there.
