## When to use
Use this skill when an e-commerce team needs to select creators, forecast a campaign, evaluate completed placements, allocate the next budget, or assess a proposed long-term booking. It is especially useful when follower counts dominate selection, discount codes dominate attribution, or contracts promise lower fees without evidence that later placements remain productive.
Produce a decision memo with explicit economics, evidence quality, a bounded next action, and a review date. Use BrandFormance to connect awareness and trust signals to acquisition outcomes. Keep the German terms Tausenderkontaktpreis (TKP), Neukunden, Zielgruppen-Penetration, and Staffelrabatte alongside their English explanations where they clarify a decision.
This package reconstructs a public approach, not a proprietary formula. Source-backed principles have citations in the method reference. Accounting conventions, thresholds, contract fields, and analytical safeguards added to make the workflow usable are labelled implementation guidance. Do not imply that Lambrecht published those additions. The public sources support repeated collaboration with proven creators while warning against inflexible commitments. They do not support a blanket ban on recurring partnerships.
## Procedure
1. **Define the decision and constraints.** Read [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 1. Identify the product, market, acquisition goal, available spend, contribution margin, acceptable CAC, and decision deadline. Record unknowns rather than filling them with industry averages. Start the decision memo using [templates/output-template.md](templates/output-template.md).
2. **Check the evidence boundary.** Read [references/sources.md](references/sources.md). Distinguish authored articles, self-reported cases, LinkedIn guidance, and episode descriptions. Cite only what the fetched material establishes. Never invent a video formula or contract clause from a title or promotional summary.
3. **Build the campaign ledger.** Follow [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 2. Keep each creator, placement, date, fee, expected views, actual views, audience data, sessions, orders, and new customers traceable. Record costs and conversion cohorts separately from monthly cash spending.
4. **Check tracking before interpreting performance.** Apply [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 3. Verify creator-specific UTM links, codes if used, landing pages, order deduplication, and customer status. Flag code leakage, missing data, and overlapping paid media. Incomplete tracking calls for a repair or bounded test, not a confident ranking.
5. **Select for audience and creative fit.** Use [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 4. Compare actual audience composition, engagement quality, historic placement reach, channel context, and brand fit. Treat tools as discovery aids. A large following or a low quoted TKP alone does not establish profitable acquisition.
6. **Forecast conservative and upside outcomes.** Use [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 5. State every denominator and assumption. Calculate sessions, orders, Neukunden, CAC, revenue ratio, and contribution ROI separately. Budget against the conservative case and cap losses. Consult illustration 1 in [examples/worked-examples.md](examples/worked-examples.md) for a worked calculation.
7. **Protect authentic execution.** Follow [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 6. Specify product facts, benefits, truthful claims, and the call to action while leaving delivery to the creator. Check the destination and product availability. Document usage rights and additional paid distribution costs if content will become a Partnership Ad.
8. **Evaluate BrandFormance over an appropriate window.** Apply [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 7. Review soft and hard KPIs together, track cumulative placement cohorts, and separate provisional reporting from mature decisions. Recent public guidance favors 60 to 90 days; this is a contextual evaluation window, not permission to spend indefinitely.
9. **Diagnose and choose the next action.** Use the decision table in [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 8. Identify audience, creative, landing-page, price, attribution, and timing explanations before selecting stop, repair, bounded retest, rebook, or scale. Set an owner, budget ceiling, and evidence needed at the next review.
10. **Challenge long-term booking economics.** Apply [references/method.md](references/method.md), section 9, and illustration 2 in [examples/worked-examples.md](examples/worked-examples.md). Model later placements independently, examine audience saturation, and compare staged rebooking with the package. Evaluate Staffelrabatte, exit terms, and downside exposure rather than accepting a headline discount.
11. **Review discount dependence and finalize.** Use [references/method.md](references/method.md), sections 10 and 11, to assess gradual code reduction and edge cases. Complete [templates/output-template.md](templates/output-template.md), then run [checklists/review-checklist.md](checklists/review-checklist.md). Resolve failed checks or disclose their effect on the recommendation.
