# B2B Creator Blueprint
Based on Brendan Gahan's public method. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Brendan Gahan.
## When to use
Use this skill when a B2B team needs to turn credible practitioner voices into a LinkedIn campaign with a clear commercial purpose. It supports a new campaign, a creator shortlist, a video brief, or a review of an existing program. The deliverable is an actionable blueprint connecting buyer insight, creator credibility, useful content, distribution, and measurement.
Read the relevant sections of the method before making recommendations. This package synthesizes public statements and attributed interview coverage; it does not claim access to Creator Authority's internal process. Its operational adaptations are explicitly identified. Preserve the requested scope: a campaign can serve one objective within a broader program without attempting every funnel stage at once.
Use supplied customer research, product evidence, budget limits, and creator analytics where available. Mark missing inputs as unknown and distinguish assumptions from findings. Ask only for information that materially changes the recommendation, then proceed with reversible planning work. Prepare outreach and campaign materials as drafts unless sending, publishing, or spending is separately authorized.
## Procedure
1. **Set the assignment.** Read [method scope](references/method.md#scope-and-evidence). Identify the brand, offer, market, decision needed, and constraints. Open [the output template](templates/output-template.md) and select the sections needed for the requested deliverable. Record unknowns rather than supplying invented research.
2. **Find the buyer insight.** Follow [buyer research](references/method.md#1-buyer-research-before-casting). Identify relevant professional roles, their purchase risks, current alternatives, and a supported differentiator. Separate actual customer evidence from campaign hypotheses. This insight should determine both the creative direction and the expertise needed.
3. **Choose one primary goal.** Apply [objective selection](references/method.md#2-one-objective-per-activation). Define the buyer response, primary metric, time horizon, and success threshold. Awareness and qualified lead generation call for different content and asks. Keep secondary indicators diagnostic rather than treating all metrics as equally important.
4. **Propose a useful concept.** Use [concept design](references/method.md#3-useful-concepts-with-creator-contribution) and [the worked examples](examples/worked-examples.md). Explain why the intended audience would value the content without the sponsorship. For lead generation, connect creator participation to the actual resource, not just its promotion.
5. **Select expertise before popularity.** Follow [creator selection](references/method.md#4-creator-fit-and-evidence). Build an evidence-backed shortlist covering category experience, audience relevance, content quality, and authenticity. Explain exclusions. Treat follower totals as context, not the selection criterion, and keep analytics gaps visible.
6. **Validate human alignment.** Use [outreach and vetting](references/method.md#5-outreach-and-human-vetting). Draft a concise, relevant invitation and call agenda. Check the creator's interest, product experience, availability, and independent perspective. A database score cannot substitute for this conversation.
7. **Connect costs to the objective.** Follow [economics](references/method.md#6-budget-and-commercial-scope). Separate creator fees, production, rights, and media. Request comparable historical results when available. Specify assumptions and a budget ceiling; do not use reported industry performance as a guaranteed forecast.
8. **Write a brief that leaves room for judgment.** Apply [briefing](references/method.md#7-a-clear-brief-with-creative-freedom). Include audience, goal, three supported reasons to believe where possible, deliverables, boundaries, and logistics. Give the creator room to shape the story while retaining factual review and clear sponsorship disclosure.
9. **Design human video.** Follow [video execution](references/method.md#8-video-as-a-trust-medium). Draft an opening buyer problem, expert explanation, concrete demonstration, limitation, and appropriate next step. Consult [the examples](examples/worked-examples.md) for transformations from promotional claims to credible teaching. Label suggested durations as test choices.
10. **Plan targeted amplification.** Apply [distribution](references/method.md#9-targeted-distribution). Distinguish organic discovery from paid reach. Specify professional targeting, authorized creator content, rights, budget, and a current eligibility check for Thought Leader Ads. Adapt the plan if paid media is unavailable.
11. **Measure and decide.** Use [measurement](references/method.md#10-measure-learn-and-reallocate) and [the template](templates/output-template.md). Compare creators, creative, and messaging in the context of spend and lead quality. Define when to continue, revise, stop, or expand without pretending noisy early results establish causation.
12. **Review and hand off.** Run [the checklist](checklists/review-checklist.md). Resolve failed checks, attach evidence and assumptions, and provide the next owner and decision date. Verify method claims against [the source register](references/sources.md), keeping illustrative numbers separate from observed results.
