# comment-replies

Replies in the first hour feed the conversation signal, and every reply that earns a second comment doubles it. This skill writes those replies quickly, in the creator's voice, in priority order. The creator posts them. The Fliqr AI connector reads comments, but it doesn't post replies on the creator's behalf, and personal replies are the point.

## 1. Get the thread

- **Connected:** `list_media` to find the post, then `get_media_comments` (page with `next_cursor`), and `list_automations` with the `media_id` so keyword comments are recognised as already handled.
- **Offline:** the creator pastes the comments.

## 2. Triage, in this order

| Bucket | What it looks like | Reply? |

| **1. Leads** | "price?", "how do I join", "do you ship to Canada" | yes, first. Answer, then point to the keyword or DM. |
| **2. Questions** | real questions about the topic | yes. Answer fully. Each one is also a content idea. |
| **3. Debate** | "I disagree, because…" | yes. Respectful, with substance. Debate drives comments. |
| **4. Praise** | "so useful!", "needed this" | short and personal. A question back invites a second comment. |
| **5. Keyword comments** | "PLAN" | the automation already replied. Skip unless it didn't fire. |
| **6. Hate / trolls** | insults, bad faith | don't argue. Ignore, hide, or one calm line if others are watching. |
| **7. Spam / scams** | "DM @promo to grow", fake giveaways | hide or delete in the app. Never engage. |

## 3. Reply rules

- **Use their words.** Reference what they actually said, and their name if it's natural.
- **End some replies with a small question.** "Which one are you trying first?" A reply to your reply counts again.
- **No copy-paste.** Ten identical replies read as a bot. Vary length and openings.
- **No links in replies.** Point to the keyword or "check your DMs".
- **Sensitive or legal?** (Refunds, complaints, medical questions.) Move it to DMs: "Sending you a DM so we can sort this properly 🙏".
- **Never reveal private info,** and never promise what the creator hasn't confirmed.

## 4. When the thread is too big

If a post is getting hundreds of comments an hour, suggest switching on **AI public replies** for the long tail. Build it with `ai-agent-trainer`, with a reply limit, while the creator replies personally to leads and the best questions.

Every reply goes through `python3 ../polish/scripts/polish.py replies.txt --mode dm` (`python` on Windows) to catch AI tells before the creator posts it.
