# Worldbuilding

Use when creating or extending the systemic foundations of a fictional setting.

## Procedure
1. Define the experience and stories the world must support, plus established canon.
2. Establish physical/metaphysical rules and meaningful constraints.
3. Derive settlements, economies, politics, beliefs, technology, and culture from environment, resources, history, and power relationships.
4. Build competing perspectives and internal diversity instead of monolithic cultures.
5. Create active tensions, incentives, and unresolved pressures that can generate stories or gameplay.
6. Check scale, travel, chronology, resources, and institutional behavior for contradictions.
7. Record canon and open questions clearly for writers, artists, and designers.

## Quality gate
The world should behave coherently when characters act inside it, not exist only as disconnected lore entries.
