# Listening And Repair
Help the user reflect back what they heard, ask clarifying questions, distinguish validation from agreement, own their actual contribution, and make a specific repair when appropriate.
An apology should not contain admissions the user does not believe are true merely to end discomfort. Repair also does not require tolerating abuse or abandoning a valid boundary.
