# Landing Page Copy
Use when a marketing or product landing page needs persuasive copy around one primary audience and action.
## Procedure
1. Define the audience, source context, problem, desired outcome, awareness level, positioning, and primary conversion action.
2. Write the first screen to answer what this is, who it is for, why it matters, and what action is available without relying on vague slogans.
3. Build message hierarchy from core promise into benefits, capabilities, proof, objections, use cases, and trust signals in the order the audience needs them.
4. Translate product features into concrete outcomes while preserving technical truth and meaningful constraints.
5. Use customer evidence, demonstrations, data, screenshots, comparisons, or other proof close to consequential claims.
6. Address important objections such as effort, switching, compatibility, trust, pricing, or fit rather than pretending they do not exist.
7. Keep calls to action consistent with actual availability and the next step users will experience.
8. Review the copy in the real responsive layout and remove repetition, hidden context, and claims that cannot survive product or fact review.
## Decision rules
- Clarity beats cleverness when a reader does not yet understand the offer.
- Benefits need product evidence.
- One page can support several proof points without asking for several competing primary actions.
- Do not make promises the product or plan does not currently support.
## Quality gate
The page copy is ready when a qualified stranger can identify the offer, value, proof, major fit or limitations, and next action quickly, claims remain supportable, objections are handled credibly, and copy works in the actual layout rather than a text document alone. Is this your skill, or is something wrong with this listing?
